I am a mentor for FIRST Team 1676, the Pascack Pi-oneers. We used Pebble Tread, am-3310 on the wheels of our FRC Robot this year We applied the tread to performance wheels am-0879 using pop rivets as is our usual practice. In the midst of our second week of competition, we found that the rubber was delaminating (pulling away) from the web reinforcement of the tread. (see attached photo) The grip on carpet is great but we have had to remove it all and re-tread all of our wheels with a different tread that we cut from conveyor belt stock.
Has anyone else seen this failure. Do you have a recommendations of anything we can do about the delamination issue we are having.
